An incurable neurological illness has been found in Celine Dion.

Celine Dion has spoken out about the terminal neurological ailment she was just diagnosed with.

The artist revealed her diagnosis with stiff-person syndrome (SPS) in a heartfelt .

“I’ve always been a transparent person; I just wasn’t prepared to speak up until now.

“I’ve been struggling with problems with my health for a long time and its been incredibly difficult for me to face my obstacles and to talk about everything that I’ve been going through.

“A neurologic condition known as stiff-person syndrome, which affects only one in a million individuals, has now been confirmed as the cause of my paralysis.

We now know that my spasms have been caused by this unusual illness that we are currently studying about.

According to the Genetic and Rare Disease Information Center, SPS is a progressive condition affecting the nerve system, primarily the brain and spinal cord, and its symptoms include significant muscle stiffness, rigidity, and painful spasms in the trunk and limbs, severely restricting mobility.
A continuation of what she had said before: “The spasms in my muscles prevent me from walking normally and from singing with the ease I once did.

“It kills me to tell you now that this means I won’t be ready to begin my tour in Europe in February.

“In addition to the wonderful medical staff that is helping me recover, I am also receiving love and support from my dear children.

“I’m working hard with my sports medicine therapist every day to build back my strength and my ability to perform again, but I have to say it’s been a struggle.

Singing is what I’ve done for as long as I can remember, and it’s what brings me the most joy.

In her own words, she continued: “I think about you all the time. I long to see you all there again, enjoying a show.

“I always give 100 percent when I do my show but my condition is not allowing me to give you that right now.

“In order to get in touch with you again, I need to give my full attention to my health right now, and I’m hopeful that I’m making progress in that regard. This is my focus and I’m doing everything I can to recuperate.

“You guys have been so sweet and supportive on social media, and I really appreciate it. To me, this is quite significant.

“Protect yourselves from harm. Have a good day. How I miss you all and wish I could be with you again soon.”
