TV star Michael Strahan has double the delight as his twin girls conclude their high school education.
The popular 51-year-old TV host, widely recognized for his celebratory posts, has used Instagram to honor his 18-year-old daughters, Isabella and Sophia Strahan, twice for their significant achievement.
The cherry on top is that both of Strahan’s daughters will be heading off to high-ranking universities come autumn.
Since each daughter attended a different high school, Strahan shared distinct posts for their respective graduation ceremonies over the past couple of weeks.
The latest post was shared on Wednesday, marking Isabella’s graduation day and the announcement of her plans to attend USC.
In a photo series, Strahan is seen with his twin daughters and his girlfriend of many years, Kayla Quick, with whom he’s been in a relationship since 2015.
The gallery’s caption read, ‘[peace sign emoji] Saying goodbye to high school and hello to USC!!! Immensely proud of you, @isabellastrahan!!! You’re intelligent, gorgeous, and dedicated!! Looking forward to your continued success!! Love you! [two red heart emojis] #GirlDad’
Two weeks earlier, Strahan shared a similar message for his daughter Sophia, who is set to start her journey at Duke University.
His heartfelt message read: ‘Congrats on graduating, my precious girl!! Bursting with pride for you!! You’re smart, beautiful, and I’m excited to watch your journey unfold at Duke. All the best, Sophia!! Love you! [two heart emojis] #GirlDad’
The twins are shared by Strahan and his former wife, Jean Muggli, whom he was married to from 1999 to 2006.
Strahan is also father to an elder daughter, Tanita, 31, and son Michael Strahan, Jr., 28, from his marriage with Wanda Hutchins, which lasted from 1992 to 1996.
In January, all three of Strahan’s daughters rallied behind him when he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Strahan was officially made co-anchor of Good Morning America in 2016 after a successful stint on ABC’s Live! with Kelly and Michael.
In September 2021, he agreed to a fresh four-year contract with ABC News to continue his role at the network.
He co-hosts the show with Roberts and George Stephanopoulos.
Before officially joining Good Morning America, the former professional football player had been a guest on the news show from 2014 to 2016.
The two-time Emmy Award recipient and Super Bowl winner also shares his insights as a sports analyst on NFL Sunday.
