In a recent episode of the “Full Send Podcast,” collegiate gymnastics sensation Olivia Dunne shared some insights about an incident that went viral from the previous month’s College Baseball World Series. The cameras captured Dunne autographing a memorabilia for an adult male fan.
Discussing the situation, Dunne noted that ever since her Sports Illustrated feature, requests for photos and autographs have increased, coming from both preteens and their parents. “Whenever older people approach me, they often mention it’s for their kid’s friend’s sister’s brother’s pet,” Dunne humorously added.
When queried about her female fans’ behavior, Dunne said she enjoys interacting with them. In her observation, female fans are typically more hesitant or anxious compared to male fans. “The girls are usually very sweet and less straightforward compared to the guys. Nonetheless, I love meeting all my fans,” she stated.
During the podcast, the LSU gymnastics standout and the hosts also explored one of the most significant advantages she enjoys – substantial income through NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) deals. Dunne disclosed that she has received upwards of $500,000 for a single social media post.
With her gymnastics season with the Tigers concluding after a fourth-place finish in the NCAA Gymnastics Championships, Dunne has been enjoying a fairly eventful offseason. Earlier this year, she journeyed to Puerto Rico to participate in a photoshoot for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition, marking her debut.
