News has surfaced that the kids of pop icon Madonna have been a constant source of support since she was urgently hospitalized due to a severe bacterial infection.
After her period in the intensive care unit (ICU) on June 24, Madonna is now recuperating at home, as confirmed by a close associate to Fox News Digital, who stated, “She is now at home and recovering well.”
Madonna is a mother of two biological children, Lourdes and Rocco, as well as four adopted children from Malawi named David, Mercy, Estere, and Stella.

Here’s more information on Madonna’s oldest offspring:
Lourdes “Lola” Leon
At 26, Lourdes, Madonna’s eldest child, is now making her way in the world. The pop superstar co-parents Lourdes with her former spouse, Carlos Leon.
Lourdes “Lola” Leon began her journey in the modeling industry in 2010, making her debut in Teen Vogue. She has since collaborated with major fashion houses such as Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu, and Stella McCartney.
Lourdes is also a graduate of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York City, an institution famously known as the “Fame” school due to its representation in the 1980 film about student life at the school.
She later pursued dance at the University of Michigan, reportedly funding her own education. In a 2021 Vogue interview, she disputed the notion of being a “talentless rich kid,” affirming she had worked hard for her achievements.
Lourdes entered the music scene in 2022 under the alias Lolahol, releasing her debut EP “Go” that featured five songs, with two singles named “Love Me Still” and “Lock&Key.”
Madonna’s 1998 album “Ray of Light” included a song, “Little Star,” dedicated to Lourdes.
Rocco Ritchie
Following her separation from Carlos Leon, Madonna gave birth to her eldest son, Rocco Ritchie, during her marriage to director Guy Ritchie from 2000 to 2008.
Now 22, Rocco Ritchie has carved out his own path in the world of entertainment, taking up modeling and acting. He even had a cameo in Madonna’s “B—h I’m Madonna” music video.
Rocco, also an artist known as Rhed, opened up about the influence of his famous parents on his art career in a 2022 interview with Vogue Man Hong Kong. He credited his upbringing in a household passionate about art and culture for his interest in art.
A legal dispute arose when Rocco decided to reside with his father instead of Madonna. Most recently, he was seen attending a Tom Ford fashion show with Madonna and his sister Lourdes.
He spoke with Ellen DeGeneres about his experience growing up with his celebrity mother during a 2012 appearance on her talk show. He described Madonna as a “good mother” who was “strict but in a good way.”
David Banda
Madonna and Guy Ritchie adopted David Banda during a 2006 humanitarian trip to Malawi. This was the same year Madonna established her charity, Raising Malawi.
Despite fulfilling the requirements for adoption, they encountered legal hurdles due to not having lived in Malawi for a minimum of 18 months. Madonna first met David while he was drinking Coca-Cola from a baby bottle, a memory she shared during his 16th birthday celebration on social media.
Despite the adoption, Madonna has always spoken warmly about her connection with David. She told British Vogue in 2019, “I feel like he gets me; he has more of my DNA than any of my children so far.”
Madonna also frequently praises David’s fashion sense, even stating that he looks better in her clothes than she does during a 2022 appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” David, now 17, has also been featured in several of Madonna’s performances.
Chifundo “Mercy” James
Following her 2008 divorce from Guy Ritchie, Madonna opted to adopt Chifundo “Mercy” James, who is now 17 years old. Her adoption process initially faced hurdles but was ultimately successful in 2009.
In 2017, Madonna further contributed to charity by launching the Mercy James Institute for Pediatric Surgery and Intensive Care in her adopted daughter’s honor, the first facility of its kind in Malawi.
For Mercy’s 16th birthday, Madonna lovingly described her as the “most kind-hearted, considerate, and enchanting girl on earth! There is no one like you!”
