In a celebration of Father’s Day, a nostalgic photo featuring Prince William and Prince Harry was shared by King Charles III, following Harry’s absence from the Trooping the Colour event.
Festivities for Father’s Day within the royal family included the sharing of endearing family photographs.
The official social media platforms for the Prince and Princess of Wales released an image depicting Prince William with his trio of children: Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5.
All family members beam at the camera, donned in harmonizing blue clothing in the snapshot, which captures them seated on a bench, a gift commemorating Queen Elizabeth II’s 90th birthday in 2016, as reported by People.

An additional, slightly more relaxed picture can be viewed on Instagram, where Charlotte and George appear gazing at their father with affection, while Louis embraces him from behind, showcasing a wide smile.
PRINCE LOUIS’ COMICAL CONDUCT ON ROYAL BALCONY FOR TROOPING THE COLOUR CEREMONY GOES VIRAL AGAIN
Millie Pilkington, the person behind the lens for these photos, also did the honors for Prince Louis’ fifth birthday portraits in April of this year. Interestingly, Louis is seen wearing the same sweater in both pictures, which implies that the images for his birthday and Father’s Day were taken on the same day.
To celebrate the occasion, King Charles III also shared a selection of photographs, following the Trooping the Colour festivities held the previous day.
The caption accompanying the images on the royal family’s Instagram read, “To all fathers around the globe, here’s wishing you a remarkable Father’s Day today.” This message accompanies a picture of King Charles III with his father, Prince Philip on the opening slide, followed by an image of Queen Camilla alongside her late father, Bruce Shand.

PRINCE HARRY AND MEGHAN MARKLE SIDELINED BY ROYALS FOLLOWING ‘MULTIPLE ASSAULTS,’ EXPERT SUGGESTS DURING TROOPING THE COLOUR EVENT
King Charles can be seen clad in a traditional green kilt and sweater, as his sons sport khakis and button-down shirts, standing against the rugged Scottish backdrop.
The Trooping the Colour parade, the official birthday march for the recently crowned King, was not attended by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
A report by People magazine on Thursday revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not among the invitees for the annual celebration of the British monarch’s birthday.
Representatives for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as well as Buckingham Palace, were not immediately available to respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comments. The outlet highlighted that their offices had no comments to offer.
“It is unfortunate that their cousins, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, won’t be present,” said Christopher Andersen, author of “The King,” in conversation with Fox News Digital. “The absence of an invitation to the Sussexes for one of the key events on the royal calendar, which is of particular significance this year to acknowledge the new monarch, clearly signals Charles’s reluctance to reconcile with his younger son.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, however, were in attendance as non-working royals at the Trooping the Colour ceremony in 2022. This event also marked the final appearance of the late Queen Elizabeth before her passing in September the previous year. They were noticed observing the event from a room above Horse Guards Parade, along with other members of the royal family.
