A soon-to-be first-time mother, Lindsay Lohan, marks her 37th birthday with a stunning photo. This isn’t any ordinary selfie, but a snapshot of a soon-to-be cool mom.
The talented star from Mean Girls, who is currently pregnant, shared an intimate shot of herself on Instagram as she commemorated her 37th year. The photo presents her seated and slightly inclined, clad in a crisp white tee.
She captioned the post, “Overwhelmed by all the lovely Birthday Wishes! Feeling truly blessed.”
Lohan is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her firstborn with husband Bader Shammas, now in her third trimester. She declared her pregnancy in March, while living in Dubai with Shammas. The announcement followed closely after the couple’s first anniversary, and the actress flaited her growing belly on social media. The couple also commemorated their upcoming parenthood with an intimate gathering in Lohan’s hometown, New York.
Post her pregnancy announcement, Lohan received warm messages from her Mean Girls colleagues Lacey Chabert and Amanda Seyfried, as well as from Nancy Meyers, the writer of The Parent Trap (1998 remake, which catalyzed Lohan’s career), and Jamie Lee Curtis. Curtis, who portrayed Lohan’s mother in the 2003 Freaky Friday reboot, also has two kids with husband Christopher Guest and is an Oscar winner in 2023.
Curtis provided some insight to Lohan about balancing her career and motherhood. Lohan shared with Allure in their June 8 cover story, “I had a chat with Jamie Lee Curtis recently, and she reassured me, ‘Simply bring your baby along, and everything will sort itself out.'”
The actress also recollected a moment from last year when she was in New York promoting her 2022 Netflix film, Falling for Christmas. She informed her mother, Dina Lohan, about her suspicion of being pregnant. Upon her return to Dubai, she took a home pregnancy test and confirmed the news to Bader.
She recollected to the magazine, “I entered the room, casually tossed the test on the table and announced, ‘Guess what?’ and he responded, ‘We are?'”
Lohan said, “I am incredibly excited to understand what it’s like to be a mother.”
