After almost twenty years of matrimony, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are parting ways.
On Friday night, Dean used social media to convey their breakup news, expressing his deep sorrow and profound regret. He announced that following 18 years of togetherness and the blessing of 5 incredible children, he and @torispelling have chosen to part ways and embark on separate journeys.
The actor hailing from Canada further added that they would continue to function as doting parents, steering and nurturing their children through this tough phase.
At this point, it seems that neither party has initiated any legal procedures related to the split.
Tori has so far maintained silence about the separation. However, in line with Dean’s commitment to joint parenting, the recently separated duo was captured in photographs while celebrating the 15th birthday of their daughter, Stella Doreen, at the Beverly Hilton earlier this week.
In addition to Stella, they also parent four more children: 11-year-old Hattie Margaret, 16-year-old Liam Aaron, 10-year-old Finn Davey, and 6-year-old Beau Dean.
Notably, the star of “Beverly Hills, 90210” tied the knot with Dean in 2006, reaffirming their commitment by renewing their vows four years later. However, their relationship has always been plagued by turbulence.
Notably, Dean acknowledged that he had been unfaithful to Tori, describing himself as “out of control” and using “sex as an escape”. The couple had a frank discussion about Dean’s infidelity on their reality television show, “True Tori.”
